Controller and contact
The controller is Procesni inženiring d.o.o., Tovorna ulica 7, 3000 Celje, Slovenia. For privacy questions, rights requests or to unsubscribe, email news@procesni.si.
Purpose and legal basis
With your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and prior consent under Article 226 of the Slovenian Electronic Communications Act (ZEKom-2), we send email news and information about technology solutions, projects, services and updates from Procesni Inženiring, including invitations to trade fairs and professional events in which the company participates. This consent does not cover telephone marketing, SMS messages, profiling or sharing your address with other companies for their own marketing.
Data we keep
We keep your email address, selected language, the time and source of subscription, the consent wording and the version of this policy. If you unsubscribe, we also record the time and source of withdrawal. We do not collect your IP address or browser details for the subscription record. If you subscribe through an enquiry, your name, phone number, company and enquiry message are not copied into the newsletter list. Technical website logs are handled separately from newsletter subscriptions.
Voluntary choice and withdrawal
The subscription checkbox is unchecked by default. Leaving it unchecked on an enquiry does not subscribe you and does not cancel any existing subscription. You can withdraw consent at any time free of charge through the unsubscribe link in each message or by emailing news@procesni.si. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal or the handling of your enquiry.
Retention
Your email address remains on the active list until you unsubscribe or this newsletter service ends. Unsubscribing immediately removes you from active recipients. We retain a restricted record of your address, consent and withdrawal for no more than three years after withdrawal to demonstrate consent, respect your withdrawal and defend legal claims, relying on legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. This record must not be used to send newsletters. It is deleted when that period expires. A new explicit subscription records new consent.
Access and providers
Subscriptions are managed in our own system. Access is limited to authorised personnel at Procesni Inženiring and, where necessary for operation, contracted hosting or maintenance providers. We do not sell your data. No external newsletter delivery platform is integrated in this version. Before introducing a new provider, we will define its role, put appropriate processing agreements in place and update this notice, including information about any transfers outside the EEA.
Your rights
Subject to the applicable legal conditions, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can always request that processing for direct marketing stops. Email your request to news@procesni.si. You may complain about personal data protection to the Slovenian Information Commissioner (www.ip-rs.si), or about unsolicited electronic communications to AKOS (www.akos-rs.si). We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling.
Policy changes
We retain the consent wording and policy version associated with your subscription. If the purpose changes beyond the scope of your existing consent, we will obtain new consent before using your data for that purpose.
