Highly-efficient energy systems – HES

Highly-efficient energy systems are independent devices that are connected technologically and in terms of energy in order to reduce energy costs.

This way we can look for the most energy-efficient ways of energy transfer from one device to another that may not have the same level of energy efficiency, but are technologically linked.

Let us look at energy use in dryers when they are heated and create emissions of organic compounds. The emissions along with the air travel to the RTO oxidation device, where they are treated. They operate at close to 25% LEL (lower explosive limit). This is the reason why the concentration of solvents is high enough for the RTO to operate “autothermally”, emissions are sufficient to heat solvents to the oxidation temperature when they are being oxidized. For this reason we have manufactured the RTO with a somewhat smaller regenerator, that is still sufficient for the purpose of “autothermal” oxidation, in other words, the heat of the emissions is still sufficiently high to heat the dryer. This is only possible as the dryer is tightly and precisely sealed and the distance between the RTO and the dryer is only 5 meters. The mass of the products to which varnish is applied to is small.

HES devices are also devices in which due to measures to locally increase energy efficiency of one device we reduce the energy use in all subsequent devices.
